Created entirely in Italy using traditional methods at the Lumina workshops, this lamp is constructed from the best materials currently on offer and employs the very latest techniques for working metal. The base, stem and shade are from a thick steel sheet that has been painted white, laser cut and hand finished. Opal and polycarbonated glass was employed for the diffuser.

The shade is crafted from a sheet of steel folded using a grille, the tool frequently used by car manufacturers to produce the characteristic metallic look of the radiator and from which the car's 'grille' takes its name.
